Panagora Group (Panagora) is a woman-owned small business specializing in global health and international development that provides Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning services to the United States Agency for International Development in Colombia - USAID/Colombia (The Mission) through various contracts entered into with the Mission for the execution of activities. As part of its contractual responsibilities, Panagora provides the Mission with technical and advisory services to facilitate informed decision-making on the management of USAID/Colombia Activities, shape the Mission's long-term strategic and programmatic direction, and enable USAID/Colombia to comply with USAID's Automated Directives System (ADS) 201 Evaluation Policy. Among the services provided by Panagora to USAID/Colombia is the development of evaluations and assessments , whose main objective is to provide the Mission with timely and quality information for timely and informed decision making to develop action plans and design future activities. One of the activities in Panagora's services is the processing of qualitative data for evaluations and assessment projects implemented by Panagora for the USAID/Colombia Mission. This involves the provision of technical support services in any of the following stages of a project/study/evaluation as required: Planning, Design, Processing and Analysis. One of the processes in the data processing stage is coding. Coding is an analytical process of classification by which concepts are identified and categories are associated according to the properties identified in the information. For each project, depending on the type, dimension and schedule of the project, a team of qualitative researchers with experience in qualitative research and coding processes using NVivo software is required. Tasks Attend and actively engage in coding process readiness days to prepare for data coding activities. Thoroughly familiarize oneself with all categories outlined in the codebook during the enlistment and piloting stages of the coding process. Execute the coding of transcribed texts generated from the collection of qualitative information by the consulting teams. This includes interviews, focus groups, workshops, and other relevant sources, adhering to the specific codebook designed for each study or evaluation. Maintain consistent and effective communication with qualitative specialists from each project, seeking clarification and guidance as needed. Attend and actively contribute to working sessions with the project team to ensure alignment of coding activities with project objectives. Make necessary adjustments to coding and associated deliverables based on feedback received from the Qualitative Specialist Produce a descriptive-analytic report matrix that presents the coding results for the requested categories and subcategories. This report should provide valuable insights derived from the qualitative data. Conduct data cleaning activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of qualitative information. Prepare reports and relevant annexes associated with the processing of qualitative data, following project-specific requirements and guidelines. Requirements A professional background in one of the following fields: anthropology, sociology, social work, economics, political science, administrative sciences, psychology, or linguistics. Knowledge and understanding of public policy, education, development, or peacebuilding issues. Minimum of 1 year of experience in coding qualitative information using NVivo software. Minimum of 2 years of experience in qualitative data analysis, report construction, and research report writing. Access to a personal computer and the necessary equipment for remote work.
