A private equity firm, is seeking to hire a PrivateEquity Associate to join the team. The firm manages a rapidlyexpanding portfolio of internet-based companies. The firm looks toacquire proven businesses that have strong metrics and potential,supported by significant growth. By introducing our infrastructure,and leveraging our expertise to quickly accelerate growth we’reable to provide solid returns to our investors. This individualwill actively engage in all aspects of research, acquisitions, andportfolio management under general supervision from the leadershipteam. Responsibilities - Evaluate new investment opportunities fortheir risks and possible returns driven by detailed financialanalysis. - Actively participate in and drive the due diligenceprocess when evaluating new investments. - Prepare investmentcommittee materials for the presentation of various investmentopportunities. - Perform business, financial, and operationalanalysis across portfolio companies to help influence seniormanagement decision-making. - Assist with ad-hoc special projectsand support the development of long-term strategic initiativesacross portfolio companies alongside executive leadership.Requirements - 1-2+ years of related work experience in corporatedevelopment, financial services, M&A investment banking, orprivate equity is preferred. - Strong analytical skills, includingknowledge of valuation methodologies. - Strong financial modeling& attention to detail. - Full understanding of financialstatements. - Experience preparing detailed financial models andcompany business valuations. - In-depth experience forecastingBalance Sheets, Cash Flow Statements, and Profit and LossStatements, including the linking of all 3 statements in onedynamic model. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Effectively manages and prioritizes multiple projects. - Flexibleand adaptable to changing priorities and new challenges. - Abilityto meet deadlines and work well under pressure. - High level ofprofessionalism, integrity, discretion, and good judgment. -Graduate with a Bachelor's degree, preferably in business,mathematics, finance, or economics. - Strong Excel and PowerPointskills.
