Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
Partner with DeSimone’s internal talent acquisitions team to recruit and retain the best and most qualified candidates. This includes developing accurate job descriptions, collaborate on recruitment strategies, etc. Act as a respected and trustworthy resource to employees at every level of the company, while effectively addressing day-today issues including communication, management, performance, career development and respect in the workplace. Collaborate on policies & procedures development. Primarily assist with updating and maintaining the firm’s employee handbook, as well as employee compliance; answer questions regarding the firm's HR policies and practices. Training and Compliance: Assist with the development and administration of an internal training program in areas such as anti-harassment, diversity and inclusion; conduct new employee orientations in-person and online Legal compliance: Ensure that the company complies with all applicable labor, tax and social security laws in Colombia, as well as keeping personnel records and documents up to date Benefits Administration: Assist HR Manager with compliance, employee questions regarding company benefits. Performance Management: Help administer the initial and annual employee evaluations, distribute review materials and monitor task completion. Knowledge of Colombia labor laws and immigration regulation. Ensure compliance with local employment laws. Assist HR Director in managing the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, including current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments. Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan. Support Talent Manager as appropriate through full cycle recruiting including but not limited to: Take steps to ensure positive candidate experience
Compose and send offer letters
Ensure onboarding process has been completed
Assist Talent Manager and HR Director in recruitment phase as required by law for immigration processes.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish BS/BA in business administration, human resources, or relevant field 3+ years experience in HR generalist related role Experienced in full cycle recruiting and sourcing Experience working with HRIS, preference for experience with UltiPro/UKG Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different role Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases Excellent verbal and written communication skill – English and Spanish Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Work environment: Office setting - Medellin, CO
Physical demands: The physical demands of the job include, walking, sitting and typing.
Position type and expected hours of work: This is a full-time position on-site in Medellin, CO. Days of work are Monday through Friday with the local standard business hours. Overtime is expected when needed to meet job demands.
Travel: As needed to attend career fairs, recruiting events, and or DeSimone offices domestically
