As a
Customer Service Representative
, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing scheduling, insurance verification, billing questions, and record accuracy.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 2 years
    previous experience in a
    healthcare
    or
    medical office setting
    is highly beneficial
  • Proficiency in navigating
    electronic health record (EHR) systems
    and other office software

Your Daily Tasks

  • Extend a warm welcome and provide comprehensive assistance to patients over the phone for inquiries, appointment scheduling, and general information
  • Address patient queries concerning scheduling, insurance policies, and billing matters, validating patient eligibility for appointments and procedure codes
  • Educate patients about insurance coverage, including copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles
  • Verify insurance particulars and collaborate with insurance providers to ensure precise billing
  • Serve as a vital link between patients and healthcare providers
  • Dispatch telephone encounters to providers for medication refill requests and referrals, ensuring prompt responses
  • Uphold the integrity of patient records, meticulously documenting insurance information, appointments, and communication history
  • Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate records
