Job Summary:

In this customer-facing role, the
Customer Project Manager (CPM)
leads small to medium-sized customer projects within an account or group of accounts.

The CPM is responsible for coordinating schedules, managing resources, and ensuring successful project delivery — on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.

This position requires a
technical background in Routing/Switching or Networking
, enabling effective communication with engineering teams and a better understanding of project dependencies and risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage small to medium-sized customer projects, including scheduling, resource coordination, and progress tracking.

  • Lead project teams that may span multiple business or technology areas, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality are met.

  • Oversee project scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and communications, maintaining alignment with stakeholders.

  • Apply working knowledge of
    Routing, Switching, Internet technologies, and Network Architecture
    to support project delivery.

  • Track and manage project issues and dependencies using
    JIRA
    or similar tools.

  • Proactively identify potential risks or blockers and drive their resolution in collaboration with engineering and business teams.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Take ownership of assigned projects, focusing on key success factors and customer satisfaction.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated project management experience, preferably in
    technical or networking environments
    .

  • Familiarity with
    Routing/Switching
    technologies or network infrastructure concepts.

  • Knowledge of project management frameworks such as
    PMBOK
    ; exposure to
    Agile (Scrum, SAFe)
    is a plus.

  • Experience using
    MS Office Suite
