Plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our technological infrastructure, with a specific focus on the Slack and Miro Environments.
Key Responsibilities
Workspace/Team Administration:
Setting up and configuring the workspace/team.
Managing user access, permissions, and security settings.
Ensuring best practices for collaboration.
Ensuring the correct apps and integrations are installed and configured.
Security & Compliance Management:
Ensuring that the workspace/team complies with company policies and industry regulations.
Managing data retention and backups.
Implementing security best practices (e.g., enabling two-factor authentication, setting up security alerts).
Understanding and managing enterprise security features.
User Support and Onboarding:
Leading the onboarding of new users, ensuring they are familiar with features and best practices.
Providing ongoing support for troubleshooting technical issues or operational questions.
Educating the team about etiquette and optimal use of teams, channels, integrations, and features.
Collaboration & Communication Facilitation:
Promoting effective communication practices within the organization.
Ensuring that the tools are used efficiently for team collaboration, minimizing noise, and enhancing productivity.
Managing notifications and alerts to avoid information overload.
Integration Management:
Configuring and maintaining integrations with other tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and other third-party apps.
Monitoring the usage of integrations to ensure they support business needs.
Analytics & Reporting:
Tracking usage patterns and engagement metrics to optimize use.
Providing insights into user activity to drive improvements in communication and workflow.
Managing reporting tools for activity audits.
Change Management & Adoption:
Leading initiatives to encourage proper usage and adoption.
Stay informed about new features and updates and implement them in the environment.
Managing any transitions, such as migration.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborating with team leaders and other stakeholders to ensure usage aligns with organizational goals.
Troubleshooting and resolving cross-departmental communication challenges.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Resolving technical issues related to integrations, user permissions, or system outages.
Understanding and diagnosing problems related to app performance or connectivity issues.
Knowledge of Slack/Miro Features & Customization:
Staying up-to-date with features, including custom workflows, automation tools and advanced settings.
Customizing for the needs of different teams and departments.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
5–8 years of experience in digital collaboration platforms, content management systems, or web application development.
At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Enterprise Slack Administration Console and Miro Administration Console for Enterprise.
Proficiency in low-code workflow management and creation
Expertise in building and managing automation pipelines in Slack.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Strong understanding of IT policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to provide off-hours support as required.
