We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to take full ownership of video editing across YouTube, short-form, and promotional content.
You’ll work directly with company leadership — including the Marketing Director — to create engaging and polished videos that communicate our brand message effectively.
This role focuses on corporate, educational, and promotional videos — not cinematic film production.
You’ll be responsible for editing podcasts, testimonials, promo reels, interviews, and branded shorts for distribution across YouTube, social media, and other digital platforms.
Core Video Editing Tasks:
Edit short- and long-form YouTube videos, promotional, and educational content.
Assemble raw footage into clear, high-quality videos that align with brand guidelines.
Edit 2 long-form YouTube podcasts (10–20 minutes) per week.
Create 8 short vertical videos (1 minute) optimized for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok weekly.
Produce monthly deliverables, including:
2–4 promotional videos (1–3 minutes)
5–10 testimonial videos (1–2 minutes)
2–4 interview videos (up to 45 minutes)
Additional projects as needed.
Creative & Technical Execution:
Follow existing scripts or outlines and collaborate with leadership on new storyboards and concepts.
Add sound, music, motion graphics, and titles to enhance video impact.
Ensure all videos are formatted for both horizontal and vertical platforms.
Improve lighting, color, and overall visual consistency.
Collaborate closely with leadership to ensure each video meets the creative vision and business goals.
Organize, archive, and maintain all video files for easy access and reusability.
MUST SUBMIT portfolio or sample reel showcasing previous editing work — both horizontal (YouTube-style) and vertical (Reels/Shorts) content is required.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro (After Effects or Apple Motion a plus).
Proven experience in corporate, educational, or promotional video editing is a plus
Strong understanding of composition, pacing, storytelling, and sound design.
Creativity and adaptability to edit different types of content while maintaining brand consistency.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate directly with leadership.
