Role Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the development and execution of the Chile, Mexico & Colombian underwriting strategy and support the Active Underwriter in its delivery.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist in inputting policy information within the corporate system, servicing the business portfolio, and assisting with quotes, policy drafts, and bookings following established workflows and processes as necessary.
  
  
• Support the portfolio in line with controls, underwriting strategy, and guidelines.
  
  
• Ensure that documentation is completed timely and accurately according to standards.
  
  File and check the completeness of documentation in company shared folders.
  
  
• Daily maintenance of system tables such as Foreign Exchange rates, Brokers, Insurers, Re-insurers, Adjustors, etc.
  
  
• Assist in addressing and resolving overdue tasks, workflow issues, and various clerical matters as necessary.
  
  
• Track the status of policies, endorsements, and renewals, identifying possible overdue items alongside with team leader.
  
  
• Follow up on the signature process.
  
  
• Perform KYC/AML according to local and group regulations.
  
  Ensure completeness and quality of KYC documentation.
  
  
• Recommend new procedures and programs where warranted.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of an Business Administration or Engineering degree, Accountant, or equivalent in business or a related field.
  
  
• The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of professional experience.
  
  While not required, experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable.
  
  
• Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and development skills.
  
  
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database tools (Desirable).
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail.
  
  
• Good organizational and communication skills.
  
  
• Logical, analytical, and resourceful.
  
  
• Ability to follow through on tasks/projects.
  
  
• Must be able to work independently but also contribute as part of a team.
  
  
• English proficiency required.

Propósito del Rol:

El propósito principal de este rol es asistir en el desarrollo y ejecución de la estrategia de suscripción para Chile, México y Colombia, y apoyar al Suscriptor Activo en su implementación.

Responsabilidades Principales:

• Asistir en la introducción de información de pólizas en el sistema corporativo, atender el portafolio de negocios y ayudar con cotizaciones, borradores de pólizas y reservas siguiendo los flujos de trabajo y procesos establecidos según sea necesario.
  
  
• Apoyar el portafolio en línea con los controles, la estrategia de suscripción y las directrices.
  
  
• Asegurarse de que la documentación se complete de manera oportuna y precisa según los estándares.
  
  Archivar y verificar la integridad de la documentación en las carpetas compartidas de la empresa.
  
  
• Capacitar a los nuevos empleados en el uso de los sistemas según sea necesario.
  
  
• Mantenimiento diario de las tablas del sistema, como tasas de cambio, corredores, aseguradores, reaseguradores, ajustadores, etc.
  
  
• Ayudar en la resolución de tareas atrasadas, problemas de flujo de trabajo y diversos asuntos administrativos según sea necesario.
  
  
• Rastrear el estado de las pólizas, endosos y renovaciones, identificando posibles elementos atrasados.
  
  
• Dar seguimiento al proceso de firma.
  
  
• Mantener herramientas que contengan información clave de suscripción para facilitar el cumplimiento de sanciones, fraudes y verificaciones de delitos financieros antes y después de la vinculación.
  
  
• Realizar KYC/AML de acuerdo con las regulaciones locales y del grupo.
  
  Asegurar la integridad y calidad de la documentación KYC.
  
  
• Recomendar nuevos procedimientos y programas cuando sea necesario.
  
  

Calificaciones:

• Título mínimo en Administración de Empresas o Ingeniería, Contador o equivalente en negocios o un campo relacionado.
  
  
• El candidato ideal tendrá 3 o más años de experiencia profesional.
  
  Aunque no es un requisito, la experiencia en el sector de seguros es muy deseable.
  
  
• Habilidades sobresalientes para la construcción y desarrollo de relaciones interpersonales.
  
  
• Competente en Word, Excel, PowerPoint y herramientas de bases de datos (Deseable).
  
  
• Excelente atención al detalle.
  
  
• Buenas habilidades organizativas y de comunicación.
  
  
• Lógico, analítico y con recursos.
  
  
• Capacidad para dar seguimiento a tareas/proyectos.
  
  
• Debe ser capaz de trabajar de forma independiente, pero también contribuir como parte de un equipo.
  
  
• Se requiere dominio del inglés.
