Overview
TripleTen is an online educational platform that empowers people to pursue technology careers through accessible bootcamps focused on Web Development, Data Science, Data Analytics, Quality Assurance (QA) Engineering, and UX/UI Design.
We are seeking experienced QA Tutors to support students in their learning process in a part-time role.
What you will do
- Lead a group of students in our QA Engineering program, sharing your industry experience and guiding them with practical insights.
- Prepare sessions by reviewing and studying the content and materials in advance to ensure the best learning experience.
- Direct group sessions: conduct webinars of approximately 2 hours, fostering participation and real-time problem solving.
- Provide 1:1 mentorship with students, dedicating at least 10 hours per week for personalized guidance and practical orientation.
- Maintain constant communication with the TripleTen team through internal channels to align goals, share progress, and resolve issues.
- Impact of the role: become a mentor and role model who helps students grow professionally and confidently face QA challenges.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in automated QA (mobile applications experience is a plus).
- Experience with automated testing using Selenium + Python.
- Familiarity with command line usage, browser development tools (DevTools), traffic analyzers like Charles or Fiddler, and API testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman.
- Knowledge of QA theory and test design, plus basic understanding of operating systems, networks, and system architecture.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Availability of at least 16–20 hours per week for your students.
Desirable
- Previous experience as a QA Senior and as a recruiter or hiring manager.
- Having been an online student and a desire to help create the best QA study environment.

- Base salary: $200 USD per month, covering onboarding, meetings, session preparation, and internal communications.
- Hourly pay: $15 USD per webinar and $12 USD per 1:1 session.
- Approximately $700–$1,200 USD per month (or more, depending on hours) while making a real impact on students.
