We are seeking a skilled and driven
Technical Project Manager
to guide the successful execution of cloud operations and platform support projects.
This role calls for a dynamic professional capable of coordinating cross-functional teams in a 24x7 setting while ensuring cloud platform availability, security, and reliability.
The ideal candidate will foster collaboration, uphold SLAs, and propel continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of end-to-end delivery of cloud operations and platform support projects for distributed teams
- Supervise cloud operations utilizing technologies like GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Airflow, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Vault
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure the maintenance and security of GCP environments
- Monitor SLAs, handle cloud alerts, manage patching, upgrades, and lifecycle activities
- Engage with Google support for seamless case resolutions
- Represent projects during customer and governance reviews through status reporting
- Define scope planning, prioritize sprints, and guarantee prompt implementation of updates and fixes
- Promote continuous service improvement and AI enablement within the team
- Align stakeholders with governance practices and effective reporting mechanisms
- Oversee team performance, development initiatives, and recognition programs
- Organize team schedules, manage shifts, and handle team escalation concerns
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience leading cloud operations or platform support teams
- Background in GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Airflow, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Vault
- Expertise in managing distributed teams operating in a 24x7 environment
- Proficiency in communication, stakeholder interaction, and reporting strategies for executives
- Competency in cloud architecture and infrastructure management
- Familiarity with security standards and techniques for performance enhancement
- Flexibility to steer cross-functional discussions and resolve issues efficiently
