Overview
Technical Product Manager (AI Infrastructure) at Félix.
This is a deeply technical, execution-focused product leadership role for our AI platform, split 50% on building robust, scalable AI infrastructure and 50% on enhancing the intelligence and conversational experience of our AI agents.
You will partner closely with the Head of AI, engineering teams, and other PMs to translate AI strategy into a tangible roadmap and bring it to life.
Responsibilities
- Drive the AI Product Roadmap: translate high-level strategy into a detailed, actionable product roadmap.
Prioritize features, infrastructure upgrades, and research spikes to achieve business objectives.
- AI Agent Intelligence & User Experience: lead the product development for our conversational AI agent.
Define requirements to improve natural language understanding and response quality, leveraging technologies like RAG to deliver accurate and context-aware interactions that delight users.
- AI Infrastructure & Platform Enablement: guide the development of foundational AI infrastructure.
Define requirements for data pipelines, MLOps tooling, model deployment systems, and scalable APIs enabling rapid experimentation and production-grade reliability.
- Technical Specification & Execution: author detailed product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
Own the product backlog and collaborate with engineering through sprints to ensure features are built to spec and delivered on time.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: own and analyze key performance metrics for both the AI agent (e.g., user satisfaction, task success rate) and the platform (e.g., latency, cost, uptime) to guide product improvements and business KPIs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: serve as the key product interface between engineers, data scientists, QA, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in technical product management, with a focus on AI/ML products, platforms, or data-intensive systems.
Direct work experience with AI is not required.
- A demonstrable passion for both the potential of AI and a strong user experience.
- Deep technical understanding of the modern AI stack, including data pipelines, MLOps, and the application of LLMs (e.g., fine-tuning, RAG).
- Proven experience shipping complex, scalable, and reliable backend systems or APIs.
- Ability to have technical conversations with engineers about system architecture, model performance, and infrastructure trade-offs.
- Exceptional analytical skills; comfortable analyzing product engagement data, AI model performance metrics, and system performance data to drive decisions.
- Passion for fintech and building technology that empowers underserved communities.
- An advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field is a plus but not required; MBA is desirable.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Equivalent competencies will be considered in lieu of listed requisites.
