About The Job
We are looking for a hands-on, proactive, experienced and passionate technical writer for the technical documentation efforts across all Tether products.
You will be responsible for the documentation for our open source projects and our platform products, including public npm modules and a robust, modular codebase.
Responsibilities
- Proactively update the documentation to match the rapid development pace of the development team.
- Write and improve documentation, guides, FAQs, etc.
- Develop high-quality proof-of-concept applications and example snippets.
- Monitor questions and issues faced by the community and improve documentation to support them better.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Node.js developing high-quality, clean and efficient code is mandatory.
- 1+ years of experience in writing technical documentation.
- Experience with Git and Markdown is essential.
- Experience with C/C++ is a nice-to-have.
- Passion and experience working with open source technologies.
- Remote collaboration: our team is distributed globally; experience in remote collaboration and communication is essential to align with our dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong technical writing skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Direct experience documenting open source projects and platform products.
- Ability to create concise, user-friendly documentation and example code snippets.
- Familiarity with npm, Markdown, and version control workflows.
