Preferred Skill and Experience:
- 7+ years experience as a business systems analyst, technical analyst, or product analyst in SaaS, middleware or integration heavy environment
- Strong background
translating business workflows into system requirements related to APIs, process mapping, integration patterns, etc.
- Strong experience with sequence diagrams, technical/ API documentations
- Knowledgeable on event-driven architecture, defining acceptance criteria and integration mapping
- Experience defining user stories and leveraging Jira
- Well versed in Agile delivery frameworks

Day to day:
An employer is looking for a Business System Analyst to sit remotely.
You will be owning a vital role for the team but acting as the connector between business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams.
The product you will be tied to powers integrations between restaurants, aggregators, and POS systems.
It manages order injection, menu distribution, lifecycle tracking, and store owner workflows through the e-commerce platform.
You will own requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation, ensuring the Core, Portal, and Localization teams deliver aligned features that meet franchisee, aggregator, and brand needs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Requirements gathering/ translation- Translate requirements to structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for engineering
- Domain Modeling/ Alignment- Partner with tech leads to ensure new feature design align' s with domain model/ lifecycle patters.
Documenting data relationships/ dependencies - Stakeholder Communication- Act as the primary bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring all parties understand scope, priorities, and constraints.
- Quality/ Validation- Collaborate with QE to define acceptance criteria and validate end to end scenarios
- Documentation/ Process- Maintain clear documentation of business rules, integration flows, mapping, and functional requirements
