The Role of a Technical Support Engineer at Coupa

You will support enterprise customers using our cloud platform, contributing to a global team dedicated to exceeding expectations and fostering customer success.

Your technical acumen will help provide expert guidance on best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to ‘how to’ technical and configuration questions from enterprise customers
  • Assist in troubleshooting first and second-level technical issues
  • Collaborate with other teams, including Integration, Operations, and Customer Success, to ensure customer success
  • Manage customer production environments
  • Create knowledge articles for our knowledge base

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong technical knowledge, including Linux, Unix, and familiarity with other OS
  • Interest in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Shell, Python) and web technologies (XML, XSLT, DOM, HTML)
  • Ability to articulate complex technical solutions clearly
  • Experience supporting external customers, preferably in enterprise software
