We are searching for the best talent for a TA Scientific Expert Lead — position could be located in Brazil, Mexico or Colombia.
Purpose
The TA Scientific Expert Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing and driving the direction for Evidence Dissemination and Medical Writing.
This role ensures alignment with broader organizational goals and fosters cross-functional collaboration; supporting the development of clinical and scientific communication and contributing to the advancement of the company’s therapeutic portfolio.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the teams responsible for Evidence Generation, Dissemination Strategy, and Medical Writing.
- Define and implement initiatives for the teams that align with the TA and business priorities.
- Ensure the one voice strategy is consistently reflected in all TA deliverables and channels through aligned, seamless omnichannel communication.
- Collaborate closely with IBVTs, CVTs, and other functional teams to align scientific activities for the TA.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the scientific and therapeutic landscape of the TA.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders (KOLs, academic institutions, etc.) to support evidence dissemination and scientific exchange.
- Leverage clinical knowledge and expertise to direct the review and identification of emerging trends and scientific intelligence relevant for the therapeutic area strategic plan.
- Incorporate insights from data science analysis to identify unmet needs/data gaps.
- Define and implement initiatives that align team efforts with TA and business priorities and omnichannel approach, ensuring integrated and impactful stakeholder engagement.
- Proactively create a purpose-driven environment by aligning Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives with the strategies and goals of the team and enterprise.
Qualifications / Requirements
- A minimum of ~7 – 8 years of experience working in Scientific Affairs, Medical Affairs, clinical development, or related areas within the pharma industry.
- Bachelor in a relevant scientific field.
Advanced degree is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a science-specific role.
- Proven experience in evidence generation, dissemination and/or medical writing.
- Required experience driving complex cross-functional initiatives.
