About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join a growing healthcare IT services company that supports clinics and businesses across the United States.
This is a remote position based in Colombia, working Eastern Time hours.
As part of a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will help maintain critical IT infrastructure, ensure system security, and provide responsive technical support to teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows servers and workstations
- Manage domain controllers, Active Directory, and user accounts
- Set up and support networking environments (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Configure firewalls, open ports, and high-availability redundancy for dual ISPs
- Set up and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and fax machines
- Provide product information, resolve issues, and maintain accurate documentation
- Respond to customer inquiries and support both internal and external users
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve IT processes and reliability
- Stay current on product and service updates
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration
- Extensive knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2012/2016/2022
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory and domain environments
- Strong networking knowledge (routers, switches, firewalls, redundancy setups)
- Excellent troubleshooting and time management skills
- This role requires professional-level English (C1+) to effectively communicate with U.S.-based teams and clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
- USD $9–$15 per hour (based on experience)
- 5 days paid sick leave after 6 months.
- 5 days paid vacation after 12 months.
