Overview
We are looking for a Sr. QA Automation to work with a multicultural team, supporting the company in its process of testing and developing API/web services tools using different tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Java, Selenium, Postman, and Shell scripting for both UI and non-UI components.
- Convert manual test cases to automated ones and perform manual testing when necessary to ensure full coverage.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (developers, scrum masters, stakeholders) to align QA activities with product goals.
- Monitor and report test metrics, including automation coverage and risk identification, ensuring quality throughout the development cycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and strengthen team capabilities through code reviews, best practices, and continuous automation strategy updates (including mobile platforms).
Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 5 years developing and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Java for test automation, along with tools such as Selenium WebDriver, JUnit/TestNG, and BDD frameworks.
- Strong experience in API/web service testing, QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking (preferably with JIRA).
- Working knowledge of DevOps environments: use of GitHub, Jenkins, AWS, Splunk, application servers (Tomcat/JBoss), and Windows/Linux operating systems.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously, proactively, and in a team.
- Advanced English.
