Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, automate and harden all data workflows.
Incorporate core data management competencies adhering to Data Architecture guidelines around data governance, modeling, quality and security.
Develop data transformation code with emphasis on test harness to deliver high quality data solutions.
Perform data and system analysis to resolve complex defects and incidents with RCA.
Stay current with emerging data technologies and industry best practices to maintain competitive advantage
At least 5 years of Hands-on experience as a data engineer working with data warehousing and ELT pipelines.
Strong SQL skills including schema design, query optimization and schema evolution.
Exp.
using scripting or programming language.
Preferably Python.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, GCP Big Query) and their data service offerings is a plus.
Knowledgable of virtualization technologies, and their use and execution.
Experience leveraging modern data technologies like trino, Kafka, Airflow, dbt, data orchestration tools and data lake technologies
Experience with design and implementation of large-scale data transformation initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent work experience).
