Responsibilities
The role of the Solutions Engineer is to provide expertise to better design and optimize Geodis client's logistics network and support the development of new customers by designing 4PL/LLP solutions.
- Data analysis: data cleansing, constraints identification, flows analysis, volume mapping.
- Design client network to address their specific constraints: lead time, product availability, related cost, CO2.
- Optimize customers' supply chain at the best cost, service level or low carbon solutions, using optimization tools.
- RFQ handling by managing Bid and Solution Design for Geodis 4PL & LLP customers.
- Integrate GEODIS standard services into a tailor‑made offer.
- Contribute to Geodis Sustainable Development approach.
Applicant's profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, International Business.
- 3+ years related experience, desired 5+ years.
- Strong communication skills (Written and oral in English and Spanish).
- Strong analytical skills, understand data collection, statistics and recognize relationship between various process functions.
- Experience in solution design and supply chain optimization (network design or transport optimization).
- Familiar with Supply Chain tools & IT systems (TMS, WMS, Order Management).
- Experience on Inventory Optimization is highly desired.
- Competences in project management, experience handling projects as PM.
- Qlik or Power BI developer experience desirable.
- Self-starter and excellent organization skills to be able to handle multiple activities.
