Solutions Architect (Managed Services) (Remote - Latam)
We are looking for a highly experienced Solutions Architect to lead and optimize cloud-native data platform solutions for enterprise clients across Latin America.
This remote position allows you to work flexibly from anywhere in Latin America while contributing to complex, high-impact projects.
Accountabilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of large-scale cloud-native data platform projects.
- Guide technical teams through data migrations, integrations, and performance optimization efforts.
- Identify opportunities for platform automation, optimization, and operational improvement.
- Implement secure and compliant platform setups, including data governance best practices.
- Plan for changes in upstream data sources and evolving technologies to maintain scalable solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and resolving technical challenges.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands‑on experience architecting, designing, and managing enterprise cloud‑native data platforms.
- Proven client‑facing experience, presenting to executive stakeholders and producing detailed technical documentation.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Data Warehouse, and other enterprise data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure services, including S3, ADLS, Kinesis, Data Factory, DBT, and Kafka.
- Advanced SQL skills, including query writing, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Experience with DevOps and Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub, Flyway, Liquibase).
- Familiarity with data integration and migration tools such as Fivetran, Matillion, Spark, or AWS Data Migration Services.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of mentoring teams and managing complex projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.
- Certifications such as Snowflake SnowPro Core or equivalent are a plus.
- Python proficiency for task automation and operational efficiency is desirable.
