Overview
As a Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps professional, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing customer-facing infrastructures, applications, and services.
You will play a critical role in maintaining enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability through automation, scalable monitoring systems, and efficient incident management.
This role involves collaboration with senior team members, regular problem-solving, and continuous learning while building strong internal working relationships.
Requirements
- Professional exposure to AWS services, particularly Lambda/Serverless, EKS, and Application Gateways.
- Proven experience in incident management and working with observability tools.
- Hands-on experience with observability platforms such as Datadog and Splunk.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with SQL, Linux Shell scripting, automation, and Git.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Experience with Terraform (nice to have).
- Typically requires a college degree (or equivalent) with up to one year of experience (may include internships or none).
- Conceptual knowledge of theories, principles, and practices within the discipline and industry.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and configure customer-facing infrastructures, applications, and services.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure and services that meet enterprise-grade SLA standards.
- Resolve customer escalations and prevent recurrence by creating processes, procedures, and automations.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve urgent production issues, including outside normal business hours when required.
- Create and deploy scalable monitoring systems to support rapidly growing global infrastructure.
- Write, update, and maintain production documentation.
- Apply standard practices and procedures to solve routine problems.
- Receive general instructions on routine work and detailed guidance from senior team members on new assignments.
- Communicate regularly, seek guidance/feedback, and collaborate with supervisors, project leads, and mentors.
