The GEA Separation & Flow Technologies Division (SFT) is looking for a
Service Sales Engineer.
Roles
Leads all activities related to parts sales, service contracts and customer support administration.
Ensuring high customer satisfaction, achieving sales targets and managing relationships with existing and potential customers effectively.
Ensuring alignment with customer support and developing strategies for business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the service sales strategy and ensure a GEA approach to customers within the cluster (cooperation with Head of Service)
- Identifying opportunities for service sales
- Actively managing key customer accounts
- Operate in partnership with sales engineers to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue and improve overall customer experience.
- Manage individual day to day activities with possible responsibility for multiple product groups / application clusters to ensure consistent approach and optimized performance.
- Continuous optimization of processes and structure (strategy, methods, tools, personnel development, etc.) and related key figures.
- Find new ways to improve customer satisfaction.
Profile & Top skills:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering discipline (electronic, mechanical, etc.)
- Required languages: English B2
- Capable of implementing strategic service sales plan.
- Relevant work experience: 3 years.
- Able to travel.
- CRM knowledge.
- Service Experience, customer management, empathy and sense of urgency.
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal, able to work with individuals (internal and external) across a wide range of levels, functions, brands and cultures.
- Prioritizes customer needs, establishes effective relationships with customers as well as internal stakeholders.
- The ability to exert influence on his / her customers by conviction, persuasion and negotiation
- Can implement delegated tasks effectively, whilst maintaining involvement and responsibility for outcomes.
- The ability to gain high levels of trust from customers and to predict customer and competitor actions.
- Familiarity with GEA service offerings and local market requirements of different customer groups.
- Negotiation and manage business skills.
