We are searching for a Senior Test Automation Engineer ((dot)NET) with a strong background in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and resilience of our advanced digital payments platform.
In this role, you'll dedicate 50% of your efforts to developing and executing automated test scenarios, while the other 50% will be focused on performing manual testing across diverse applications and services.
Responsibilities
- Create documentation such as test plans, test cases, checklists, bug reports, and test summaries
- Conduct functional and non-functional tests, encompassing regression, acceptance, usability, and cross-platform testing
- Perform security evaluations for MVC/SPA applications and Web APIs
- Collaborate effectively in Agile methodologies with an emphasis on SAFe practices
- Manage processes for defect monitoring and risk tracking
- Develop automation frameworks for UI testing using Selenium and C#
- Execute performance-related testing to ensure application scalability
- Implement and improve API testing approaches through (dot)NET frameworks
- Drive continuous testing enhancements within CI/CD pipelines, including tools like TeamCity and Octopus
- Leverage tools like TestRail, MS SQL, ELK stack, Postman, Fiddler, and Sentry for testing and reporting purposes
- Maintain open communication and cooperation with cross-functional teams to optimize product standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience in QA analysis, test estimation, and developing test cases
- Knowledge of Selenium with C# for UI testing and SpecFlow with Gherkin syntax
- Background in API testing with (dot)NET
- Proficiency in backend testing and expertise with Windows services
- Expertise in automation technologies like Selenium, Cypress, or alternatives
- Capability to operate tools such as TestRail, MS SQL, ELK stack, Sentry, Postman, Fiddler, and CI/CD solutions like TeamCity and Octopus
- Understanding of Agile workflows and principles of continuous testing
- Skills in troubleshooting and risk management techniques
- Proactive approach to elevating testing methodologies and refining product quality
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to communicate across stakeholders
- Showcase of precision-focused strategies to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Excellent English proficiency (B2 level or higher)for effective interactions with English-speaking teams
Nice to have
- Familiarity with tools for performance testing, including JMeter, Sitespeed.io, or equivalents
