Job description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

  • Ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the GBS center according to the requirements of GBS policies, procedures, and guidelines, and according to the Group Accounting Manual for specific area of responsibility.
  • Self-directed worker for a specific service area.
  • Supports organizational effectiveness through the identification and/or implementation of process improvements.

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure regular operation tasks/closing running smoothly and accurately.

    With excellent view of add control point and self-check for regular job.
  • Complete BSR on time and open item follow up with high quality.

    Ensure no unexplained items.
  • Maintain a complete and accurate RTR in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules within established deadlines (monthly/ daily) for standard accounts.
  • Coordinate with business partners (Controlling; FP&A and Finance teams in markets, AP, AR etc.) to obtain needed information and ensure process steps are executed properly.
  • Prepare and compile documentation for year-end audit and internal audit for standard accounts.

  • Global policy and operation process deep understanding.

  • Internal team training and cross-function knowledge sharing.
  • Project involvement include global/GBS center/team projects.
  • Signal contact person of key process (e.g. Inventory/Payroll etc.) as SME, including data gathering and analysis cross legal entities.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovate solutions so the team can operate in an efficient and cost-effective way.
  • Complete other GL tasks team lead assigned.

  • Familiar with Microsoft office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good English level

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with different international cultures

    • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent education required
  • Minimum 3 years’ GL experience
  • Experience in a multi-national working environment
