About the job
Goods & Services is looking for a Staff Software Engineer who will develop and support integrated automation solutions.
This individual will work in a team setting, working to automate the software delivery pipeline, cloud solution management, and create tooling to streamline and enhance the current automation workflows and help build new workflows for next-generation solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Automate in-house processes and develop custom tooling for CI/CD.
- Develop deployment automation using DevOps principles.
- Configuration Management for Cloud-based infrastructure.
- Cloud Infrastructure security.
- Contribute to the development of the internal development platform.
What you’ll need:
- BS in Computer Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud management.
- Configuration Management experience.
- Experience in software development for cloud-based applications and container-based solutions, such as Serverless and Docker Containers.
- Cloud development experience, including solid experience with AWS and basic knowledge of Azure.
- Experience developing in Go, JavaScript, and Typescript.
- Solid experience with front-end web development using React.
- Experience in automating software and deployment environments for CI/CD using Jenkins and/or GitHub.
- Experience in configuration management tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS CDK.
- Experience with GitHub Actions.
- Experience with AWS Serverless Applications.
- Ability to perform in a team environment with a task-oriented focus.
