Role Summary
This position, “Commercial SE NoLA/SoLA,” will drive the strategy around Distributors and Partners in LATAM for the commercial segment (1-250 users).
The SE will improve the sales process with the ability to recommend the best options and push Sophos customer success.
What You Will Do
- Deliver high-quality technical training in line with industry-recognized best practices on core Sophos solutions to Sophos Partners and Customers in the commercial segment.
- Coordinate and synchronize webcast activities for our commercial partners, with content developed from our SE team, Marketing or Global Training team, and deliver webcasts for LATAM to customers and partners.
- Develop technical strategies to support a high-volume business.
- Travel to the assigned territory to support enablement and sales activities alongside the commercial sales rep.
What You Will Bring
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and cybersecurity.
- Desirable experience with security products (firewalls, IPSec, IDS/IPS, Anti-Spam, virus scanning, XDR, wireless, switching).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- 5 years of experience in channel development or sales training within the cybersecurity technology sector.
- Experience in creating and articulating an enablement strategy aligned with overall business goals and the partner ecosystem.
- Experience working with internal teams (product, marketing, sales operations, engineering) to drive program execution and partner experience.
- Desirable knowledge of Windows, UNIX or Linux.
- Strong Spanish and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized with multi-tasking abilities; adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure.
- 50-60% occasional travel for training and engagements.
- MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Sophos products a plus.
