Job Description
We are seeking a
Test Automation Engineer
with strong skills in
C# and Java
, as well as experience in
Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
to join our growing QA Engineering team.
In this role, you will design and implement automated test solutions to ensure the quality and performance of complex software systems.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in agile environments and has a background in test automation and backend/API testing, preferably within the financial services domain.
While the primary automation framework will be built in
C#
, we welcome strong Java engineers and professionals skilled in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python who are open to working in or transitioning to C# automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using
C#
,
Java
,
JavaScript/TypeScript
, or
Python
.
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks for web, API, and backend systems.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report issues with clarity and precision.
- Participate in code reviews for test automation codebases.
- Contribute to continuous integration and continuous testing strategies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in test automation using
C#
,
Java
,
JavaScript/TypeScript
, or
Python
.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright).
- Experience testing APIs (e.g., using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools).
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Ability to work in agile/scrum teams with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with
Playwright
automation framework is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with
Selenium WebDriver
,
SpecFlow
,
Cucumber
, or similar BDD frameworks.
- Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
(e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab).
- Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments.
- Exposure to
cloud environments
such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
