Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic
Senior Program Manager
to lead the launch and ongoing operation of our new enterprise Learning & Development platform.
This critical role requires a unique combination of
senior project management
,
instructional program expertise
,
data-driven strategy
, and hands-on operational leadership.
You will be the central figure, ensuring the platform and content deliver maximum business impact for both our
external enterprise clients
and our
internal organizational growth
.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Enterprise Program & Project Leadership
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for external enterprise clients and internal stakeholders, translating business needs and training requirements into clear, executable learning programs and platform features.
- Senior Project Management:
Drive the completion of the foundational platform build, implementing rigorous methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) to manage scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
- Data Strategy & Alignment:
Define and implement the strategy for
learning data capture, analytics, and reporting
.
Ensure all programs are designed for measurable outcomes that align with key business objectives and client requirements.
- Governance & Process:
Establish quality assurance gates, best practices, and operational processes for content development and platform management.

Internal L&D Strategy & Alignment
- Organizational Needs Assessment:
Partner with HR and department heads to identify critical skill gaps, career pathing needs, and compliance training requirements across the organization.
- Internal Curriculum Design:
Be
crucial in aligning the new platform and learning programs
to meet the internal training needs of our employees, including onboarding, leadership development, and technical skills training.
- Program Implementation:
Oversee the successful deployment and tracking of all internal L&D initiatives through the new platform.
3.
Instructional Program & Media Strategy
- Instructional Oversight:
Apply advanced
Instructional Design (ID)
principles and Adult Learning Theory to oversee the creation of engaging and effective learning curricula.
- Content and Media Development:
Provide creative and functional direction for the development of diverse media types (video, interactive e-learning, microlearning) to ensure high-quality production standards and effective knowledge transfer.

Learning Technology Operations & Delivery
- LMS Strategy & Functionality:
Oversee the operational, functional, and
User Experience (UX)
strategy for the Learning Management System (LMS), including user journey, configuration, and access policies.
- Marketing & Adoption:
Develop and execute the communication and marketing strategy to maximize platform adoption, course enrollment, and learner engagement for all user groups.
- Operational Support:
Define and manage the process for ongoing LMS administration, Tier 1/Tier 2 user support, and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
7+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 3 years in a senior program management or director-level capacity managing enterprise-scale L&D initiatives.
- Platform Fluency:
Deep functional knowledge of
Learning Management Systems (LMS)
or
Learning Experience Platforms (LXP)
, including deployment, configuration, and operational best practices.
- Instructional Expertise:
Proven expertise in instructional design models and a track record of successfully managing the development of various learning modalities (e-learning, blended, ILT).
- Project Management Certification:
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification/demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-faceted technology projects.
- Analytical Skillset:
Proven ability to define learning metrics, analyze data to measure program effectiveness, and use reporting tools to drive continuous improvement.
- Client Communication:
Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills with the ability to manage complex relationships with senior executive leadership and enterprise clients.
