Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior PostgreSQL Developer .
The customer provides Direct-to-Consumer services encompassing global entertainment and news TV properties, TV stations group, and radio businesses.
Responsibilities
- Manage different PostgreSQL installations
- Communicate with developers, product managers and stakeholders relying on PostgreSQL
- Support and development of relational database systems (RDS PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Data stores support and automation
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as PostgreSQL Developer
- 2+ years hands-on database experience on AWS using RDS and/or Aurora PostgreSQL, MySQL
- 2+ years of experience with Linux systems
- Understanding of relational and non-relational database concepts
- Experience with PL/pgSQL
- Good understanding of Postgres architecture (processes, memory and disk structures, transactions including isolation levels, stages for query execution and how to tune it, cursors, multiclient connections and ways for re-using client connections, connection pooling, MVCC, WAL segments, tablespaces, roles and privileges)
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting
