Newfire is seeking a Senior Manual QA who is willing to slowly turn into Automation, a person who is interested in working with a mission-driven organization, helping to provide health services to large populations.

Familiarity with Selenium - Playwright is a Plus - Experience with automation will be great to have.

What's the Project?
Our client delivers multi-specialty, evidence-based care to medically complex patients in-home, focusing on chronic and co‑existing conditions such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), end-stage renal disease (ESRD), diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, COPD, behavioral health, and more.

They deploy comprehensive care teams—nephrologists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, pulmonologists, behavioral health experts, social workers, pharmacists, nurses—available 24/7 to provide medical treatment, medication reviews, individualised care plans, social support, and assistance with social determinants of health (food, transport, etc.) Care delivery is 24/7, in-home, and built on value-based reimbursement models.

Your day-to-day activities:

• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing of web-based applications.
  
  
• Design, write, and execute detailed test cases and test plans.
  
  
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  
  
• Detect, document, and track defects; verify fixes and support defect triage.
  
  
• Communicate daily with the customer and internal team regarding progress and issues.
  
  
• Identify positive/negative test cases, edge cases, and user scenarios.
  
  
• Contribute to test documentation, planning, and artifacts.
  
  
• Support and gradually expand automation efforts (API/UI) under team guidance.

You're a perfect match if you have:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA.
  
  
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Automation QA (API/UI).
  
  
• Currently hold or recently held the title of Automation QA.
  
  
• Strong willingness and motivation to transition into deeper Automation QA — we will guide and support your growth.
  
  
• Solid understanding of QA activities within the Software Development Life Cycle (Smoke, Regression, etc.).
  
  
• Deep experience in Web and API testing.
  
  
• Practical experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions for QA workflows.
  
  
• Knowledge of SQL syntax for data validation.
  
  
• Ability to create clear, concise, and detail-oriented test plans/cases from requirements or verbal communications.
  
  
• Experience with Atlassian Suite (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  
  
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Intermediate+).
  
  
• Track record of working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  
  
• Experience in the healthcare domain is preferred.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Knowledge and experience with .NET / C#, Java, or TypeScript.
  
  
• Familiarity with Postman, NestJS, Vue2/Vue3, and Angular.
  
  
• Exposure to automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
