Purpose
The completion of Annual Account and Risk Reviews by fiduciary specialists independent of Relationship Management teams is a critical control function which assures quality fiduciary administration and conformity with policies, procedures, and guidelines and, ensures compliance with tax and regulatory regimes.
In so doing, the Senior Associate, Annual Account and Risk Review Team contributes to effective risk management and allows the Relationship Management teams to focus on meeting the needs of its Designated Persons.
The incumbent will be responsible for the completion of the Annual Account and Risk Reviews of assigned relationships/accounts of varying complexity and will also be expected to contribute to team effectiveness through the indirect development of team capabilities.
Accountabilities

Effective and timely completion of assigned Account and Risk Reviews:
• Conduct a conceptual review of the founding and ancillary documents of each assigned account to gain a comprehensive understanding of the details of the structure, Designated Person's facts and objectives;
• Completing account review checklists for all assigned accounts ensuring the detailed steps outlined in the Guide to Completion are executed as part of the review;
• Conduct an in depth review of documentation and correspondence in the account file to ensure completeness of records and proper evidence of conduct of the account, including minutes, statutory records, annual returns and other records as outlined in the Fiduciary Administration Guide are present;
• Examine account activities within review period to ensure that actions taken are in accordance with account documentation, and trust company policies and procedures;
• Accept, plan and meet monthly completion quotas for self as set by AD IFC to ensure that the requisite reviews per monthly cycle are completed within established time frames.
Documents Matters Requiring Attention (MRA), working in partnership with applicable Fiduciary Associates and leadership team:
• Executes assigned work independently as a team member under the direction of the AD IFC, seeking guidance when necessary and escalating matters which require senior leadership involvement when warranted;
• Upon completion of Annual Account and Risk Review, record any Matters Requiring Attention resulting from the review in the appropriate screen in the Offshore Trust system, Outstanding Documents and/or the Account Diary;
• Confirm and review the Annual Account and Risk Review and resulting MRAs with AD IFCAD IFC.
Share findings, identify trends and partner with Relationship Management teams in the development of best practices:
• Identify and escalate to AD IFCAD IFC emerging issues or trends uncovered during review process.
Work with AD IFC to refine analysis, develop recommendations, and assist in communication with senior leadership as required;
• Monitor, identify and escalate to AD IFC any unusual / suspicious activities;
• Identify and develop recommendations in support of best practices initiatives; work closely with AD IFC and Relationship Management teams with a focus on implementation of new and/or best practices with respect to account administration, documentation and reporting.
