Purpose
The Senior Manager, Workforce Management, leads a team to manage Labour Services contracts (SOWs/Work Orders); review and approval process for managed suppliers; review and approval process for managed suppliers and/or manages contract execution and invoice management, and/or pool management activities, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.
Ensures all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
The Senior Manager, is responsible to manage the Labour Services related demand, third-party(vendor/supplier) contracts execution / invoices management and provide advisory to contract owners & leadership and support with activities including Contract management, Cost optimization initiatives while interacting and managing relationships with internal stakeholders including Procurement, Contract Management / Legal office, Finance, Third-party Risk Management, Internal control functions, Supplier Relationship Managers, and external teams such as third-party suppliers.
This role works across senior levels of the organization, articulates and executes on strategy, drives value creation, and delivers against third party management policies, standards, and procedures.
Accountabilities
Leads and drives a customer focused culture by creating relationships with internal stakeholders to support on business objectives, influence key stakeholders and jointly develop, govern, report on the demand management strategies for Labour Services, and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.Collaborate with contract owners, and business leaders to understand the Labour services demand and provide advisory on the third-party engagement strategies including right third-party engagement, right contractual vehicle, appropriate contractual terms & conditions including business, commercial and legal aspects.Maintains strong relationships with Business Line and account executives/contract owners to enable enterprise views of the third party to develop and drive supplier strategies.Manages technology Labour Services contracts review and approval process and/or manages contract execution and invoice management, and/or pool management ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives with full adherence to governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.Leads and coaches a team of Managers and Analysts, Workforce Management to execute against their assigned activities, goals, and cascaded operational objectives.Ensure cost efficiency by ensuring right contract-type, use of appropriate resource roles, approved rates, and right location mix.Works with Business Line and Contract Owners to build a pipeline of contract renewals and to consolidate business and contract requirements and opportunities to support Strategic Sourcing leads with renewals and inform sourcing strategiesUnderstand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.Contribute to a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, business management, finance, marketing, OR relevant work experience.Minimum 10+ years progressive experience in third-party/supplier engagement activities.
Fair knowledge about contract management (Master Agreement, Statement of Works, purchase order tools, invoice process, etc.) or ability and interest to learn on the job.Strong analytical skills and experience in working with a large dataset on Microsoft excel, and exposure to running complex queries and Macros is preferred.
Microsoft Access and/or SharePoint experience, preferred.Stakeholder management skills and comfort in speaking with senior leaders at the Bank.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skillsExcellent change-leadership and conflict resolution management as well as advanced problem solving skills Specific Requirements:
