Responsibilities
Purpose of this position is to ensure efficient and effective execution of domestic and international transactions.
contract performance, inventory control and risk mitigation - ensuring accurate execution, custom’s clearance, logistics management payment performance, funding assurance and safe transfer/release of title for international, trade finance, and domestic trade flows.This position requires experience and a deep understanding of risk management, logistics and trade economics for physical international commodity transactions.Perform trade control, and funding activities to ensure safe transfer and release of title documentation for international, finance and domestic trade flowsDaily shipment milestone management & monitoring of trade notifications Instruct, collect, and review international trade documentation to ensure payment performance and nationalization of commodities at destination Execute Trade Settlement activitiesFormulate Accounts Payable Pre-Payment Advances Communicate daily with Customs Brokers, Logistics Operators, Customers, Vendors, Truckers and Warehouse facilities Monitors monthly inventory reconciliation and adjustments per business line requirementsMonitors aging payables and receivable balances and escalates as appropriate This list of responsibilities may not be all-inclusive and can include others as needed. Qualifications
5+ years relevant experience working in international commodity trade or structured financeFluent in both Spanish and EnglishExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience reviewing global trade contractsExperience ensuring contract payment performance for import/export transactionsExperience creating and reviewing Trade related documentationExperience presenting documentation to banks for payment.Knowledge and understanding of exchange traded commodities, preferably in Dry Bulk (Grains & Feed) and Vegetable Oils (Fats & Oils)#LI-Hybrid
