Senior Integration and Support Engineer at Sutherland, Bogota, D.C., Colombia
Responsibilities
- Integration & Deployment: Implement and deploy NICE’s product suite solutions for clients; install and integrate NICE’s applications with diverse enterprise systems and data sources using ETL processes, REST APIs, web services, XML, XSLT, and scripting languages.
This includes installing and maintaining MicroStrategy Intelligence Server, web server, and application tools suite, and managing data models for reporting and analytics, including report configuration using MicroStrategy tools.
- Issue Resolution and Support: Provide front-line support, troubleshooting and resolving Sales Performance Management application issues reported by end-users; document problem-solving processes; test fixes and conduct post-resolution follow-ups; analyze resolutions to identify trends and prevent recurrence.
- Client Collaboration & Technical Expertise: Collaborate with clients and NICE’s Client Services team, providing technical expertise throughout the deployment lifecycle; data mapping and integration, forms/workflow design and implementation, and report design/implementation; gather information on operational issues and document for analysis and resolution.
- System Administration and Maintenance: Perform hands-on maintenance and support for Sales Performance Management applications, including software installation/upgrades, database exports, and system/configuration tasks; share best practices with fellow engineers and business analysts; provide feedback to Product Management for enhancements.
Qualifications
- Advanced English level (B2H or Higher)
- 5+ years of experience delivering excellent customer service, including the ability to explain complex technical information to both business and technical audiences
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Linux, shell scripting, data handling, SQL, and PL/SQL; strong analytical skills
- Hands-on knowledge and practical integration experience with enterprise software applications
- Proven experience with troubleshooting methodologies and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate within a team
- Demonstrated ability to bridge communication gaps between technical and business stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent)
- A passion for technology and willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- Valuable technical skills: deep understanding of Linux/Unix, shell scripting, Python and Perl, Java; familiarity with HTML, CSS, JSP, XML, XSLT; strong database skills (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DB2; PL/SQL); experience with AWS and cloud deployment
- Familiarity with REST APIs/web services, ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory), and BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, Cognos)
- Business and Data Analysis: exposure to CRM like Salesforce, ERP like Oracle/SAP; cloud-native data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery); Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark); cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
