Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Core) – Latin America
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native, scalable infrastructure that supports global connectivity solutions across Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, cloud-agnostic infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and continuously improve architecture for resilience and scalability.
- Develop and manage infrastructure provisioning automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Oversee Kubernetes management, applications development, and on‑premises cluster operations.
- Support containerization strategies and service mesh implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking, Linux systems, and distributed applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure processes and systems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development and infrastructure operations.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes management and containerized application deployment.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Golang).
- Expert knowledge in configuration and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and optimization.
- Solid understanding of Linux networking, operating systems, and basic networking protocols (DNS, HTTP, TLS); knowledge of BGP is a plus.
- Familiarity with service discovery and service mesh architectures is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
