Your Role:
As a Senior Fullstack Developer (Mobile-Oriented), you'll be part of a 6-person squad focused on delivering secure, scalable features across both backend services and mobile experiences.
A strong background in React Native is essential for success in this mobile-first product.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and scale backend services in + TypeScript
- Contribute to React Native features across iOS and Android
- Design secure, testable, cloud-native systems on AWS (DynamoDB, GraphQL future)
- Collaborate with squad leads on architecture and product design
- Support trust, safety, and member experience through strong engineering
- Participate in AM/PM standups across global time zones
- Ensure stability and performance at multi-million user scale
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering, with backend depth , TypeScript)
- Experience with mobile-first products (React Native required)
- Strong AWS knowledge (DynamoDB, microservices, serverless patterns)
- Background working on scaled consumer products (social, marketplace, or H2H apps)
- Clear English communication for distributed, async-first collaboration
- Collaborative mindset—open to feedback, avoids rigid my way approaches
- Comfort aligning with progressive, sex-positive product values
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with GraphQL
- Experience with personalization, recommendation, or matching algorithms
- Work in trust/safety engineering or security-first squads
- API design that balances performance and user experience
