About the Role
The Senior Front End Engineer will create and maintain internal and customer‑facing web applications, integrate with APIs, and support the product suite.
This position involves working closely with cross‑functional teams on all aspects of UX/UI design and implementation of web tools and application features.
The engineer will also partner with the platform team to design and implement the infrastructure necessary to support the application.
What You Will Do
- Develop and implement new functionality for the client portal, managing all stages from design to release
- Partner with backend engineers to design and build APIs to support front‑end applications
- Implement security, CI, and telemetry tools into the SDLC lifecycle
- Champion best practices for branding, design, and usability of web applications
- Update existing applications to meet agreed‑upon security, functionality, and branding standards
- Design core parts of the platform to ensure a reliable, secure, and high‑quality experience for customers
- Work with technical leadership to make decisions on technology and tool selection
- Participate in and drive system architecture decisions
- Test and maintain all company web tools and applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements
- Develop branding guidelines and governance framework, including creation of templates
- Create documentation for external and internal users to use services and contribute to the codebase
- Special projects and assignments as business dictates
- Maintain, create, and control all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by confidentiality or privacy standards
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field
- 4‑7 years of experience designing and developing web applications
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and TanStack
- Experience developing with specific programming languages such as Python
- Expertise in cloud‑native applications and architectures (serverless, PaaS, IaaS, container deployments)
- Expertise integrating with identity providers and implementing authentication flows
- Expertise in a security‑first approach
- Experience with cloud data platforms, data warehouses, and ETL pipelines
- Experience working in an Agile SDLC
- Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills at all levels of technical expertise
- Very high attention to detail and strong motivation to learn new skills
