We're looking for a
Senior Front-End Developer
to join our growing and diverse team for a north-american client.
This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining the scalable front-end of a modern, cloud-native tech platform to deliver a seamless digital mortgage experience.
You will work closely with back-end developers, marketing and caring mortgage specialists to build high-quality, modular, and maintainable services that power critical business applications.

Client's profile
Our client is a
north-american company
with many years in the lending and mortgages industry.
They are proud of being recognized as leaders of innovation in their field, and of their social and environmental impact, certified by the B Corp Organization.
They structure their teams in squads and use a combination of Go for the backend and Typescript using React in the frontend as their tech stack.
They follow industry-standard practices for scalable and decoupled systems, using microservices deployed in kubernetes, synced thru pub-sub queues and RESTful APIs. They do continuous deployments using Google Cloud Build, and use DataDog for observability.
They approach their design emphasizing the user experience and leveraging the skills of a multidisciplinary team of engineering, marketing and caring mortgage experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on and lead complex technical projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
- Drive initiatives to improve code quality, workflows, and team best practices.
- Write automated tests and work closely with QA for solid and reliable code delivery.
- Leverage AI tools to optimize workflows and improve efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster technical growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend and data teams, to deliver scalable and performant applications.
Technical Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience in Front-End development.
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions and lead change, with experience in a leadership or influential role.
- Strong expertise with TypeScript and the React ecosystem is a plus).
- Proficiency with CSS/SASS, modern CSS frameworks, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with frontend performance optimization and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and API integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines (Google Cloud Build, Codefresh).

- Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Ability to work remotely with headset/camera equipment, be responsive during working hours, have a quiet place to work, and maintain a reliable internet connection.
