We are looking for an action-oriented DevOps VoIP Engineer to join our team, taking ownership of deploying, scaling, and optimizing telephony and real-time media infrastructure.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of DevOps and VoIP, with expertise in SIP, RTP, and FreeSWITCH, and is passionate about building high-performance, resilient systems for real-time communications.
Fluent English is a must B2+ is required for this client-facing role.
Key Responsibilities
- Configuration, deployment, and management of VoIP and WebRTC infrastructure
- Build and manage AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform
- Implement monitoring and observability for quality and system reliability
- Design and test autoscaling strategies for thousands of concurrent sessions
- Monitor and optimize call routing, media quality, and system reliability in cloud environments
- Collaborate across teams to ensure secure, resilient, and performant deployments
- Weekly demos with clients
Technical Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing DevOps practices in cloud environments, with a strong focus on CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible
- 4+ years of experience with VoIP technologies (SIP, RTP, Trunking, OpenSIPS, FreeSWITCH) and real-time protocols (e.g., WebSockets, WebRTC)
- 4+ years of experience working with REST APIs, Webhooks, Docker/Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platforms (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure)
- Extensive expertise in containerization, orchestration, and automation using Docker, Terraform, and Ansible to manage scalable infrastructures
- Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) and data storage solutions (e.g., S3, EBS)
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and protocols, including OSI layers, TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
