What We Seek: Your Expertise and Experience

• Prior experience developing complex financial models and analyses in Excel
• Ability to assist clients with planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
• Proficient in handling large datasets in data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery)
• Skilled in utilizing data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Power Pivot)
• Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data
• Ability to dive deep into data with a bottoms-up approach while maintaining awareness of the bigger picture
• Financial and Business Acumen: Evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable insights
• Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Apply rigorous logic to solve multifaceted problems effectively
• Relationship Management: Build constructive relationships with a diverse group of business partners
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting & Finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience using SQL & Power BI in corporate FP&A, business intelligence, corporate development, consulting, investment banking, equity research, private equity, or venture capital contexts.
  
  

Role Rundown: Key Duties and Tasks

• Collaborate as a team member on a variety of consulting engagements with CFOs, focusing on reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and planning in complex data environments.
  
  
• Develop detailed, assumptions-driven 3-statement financial operating and strategic models, using automation techniques to maintain scalability and repeatability.
  
  
• Assist in planning and implementing data engineering projects, utilizing data warehouses, data ETL tools, and scripting languages to construct complete data pipelines for KPI reporting and dashboards, which drive forecasting models.
  
  
• Participate in and present at weekly update meetings with clients, demonstrating progress towards the predefined goals of the engagement.
