Position Overview
The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
This role involves designing analytical frameworks, building reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with stakeholders across departments to identify trends, optimize performance, and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to monitor business operations.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for growth or process improvement.
- Translate data findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations, etc.) to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Lead data-driven projects and mentor junior analysts.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of data by developing validation and quality control processes.
- Work closely with data engineers and IT teams to optimize data pipelines and infrastructure.
- Design and perform A/B tests and other statistical analyses to support business hypotheses.
- Present results to leadership teams using data visualization and storytelling techniques.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2–4+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to data accuracy.
- Proven experience in management.
