The Senior Cloud Operations Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing Convatec's cloud infrastructure and services to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
This role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) like Terraform.
The engineer will also develop and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis, and perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization (FinOps).
Collaboration with architecture, development, and PMO teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions will also be a key aspect of this position.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools.
Full responsibility from infrastructure design, build and operatestandpoint.
AssureCloud operations being responsible for their operation.
Maintain and improve infrstructure-as-code (IaC) and deployment pipelines (, Terraform)
Collaborates with IT security, to maintain systems without vulnerabilities when possible, and react if necessary.
Workwith change requests & incident monitoring system (ServiceNow)
Is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Cloud Infra systems through change, and ensures systems can operate and respond effectively to fluctuating capacitydemands.
Writing/updatingtechnical design, build and processdocumentation .
Providetechnicalsupportduringdisasterand Perform Root Cause Analysis.

Key Requirements:
At least 4 years experience with Cloud operations or similar
Prove experience with one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (, Cloudwatch, Azure monitor, ElasticSearch, Grafana, NewRelic, DynaTrace, DataDog).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and scripting languages (, Bash, Python, PowerShell).
Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
Good understanding of ITIL concepts and service management best practices.
Given problems to investigate, Identifying potential project obstacles, present findings.
Support the project team, assistingon maintenance, monitoring and documentation.
