Is that you?
- 8-10 years of experience in industrial automation/control system engineering
- Hands-on expertise with Ignition and Tatsoft for building SCADA, HMI, and automation solutions
- Strong understanding of real-time control systems, PLCs, OEE, and MQTT (Levels 1-3)
- Proven experience designing and developing software for manufacturing technology stacks
- Ability to lead engineering projects, make technical decisions, and guide the team
- Clear communication and effective collaboration skills
- Adaptability, resilience, and a strong commitment to transparency and integrity
Desirable
- Python, Jython, or C# experience
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or SQL Server
- Exposure to AI/ML-based predictive automation (Litmus, TensorFlow)
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar
- Experience with CODESYS or other industrial automation platforms
- Experience automating EHS processes
- Experience training teams on Industry 4.0/manufacturing solutions
Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you'll help modernize manufacturing systems by designing, building, and integrating automation solutions that connect legacy and new technologies.
- Design, build, and maintain SCADA and HMI workflows using Ignition & Tatsoft
- Support SCADA integration across distributed manufacturing systems
- Commission and troubleshoot systems in real-world manufacturing environments
- Work with engineering and operations teams to streamline and reduce manual workflows
- Provide leadership as needed, taking accountability for results, wins/losses, and lessons learned
- Contribute to modernization initiatives by integrating legacy and modern technologies
