Your Impact

As a Security Engineer at Deliverect, you will play a crucial role in protecting our infrastructure and the trust of our clients across multiple regions.

You will be a champion of DevSecOps principles, integrating security best practices into the development lifecycle to ensure the swift and secure delivery of our SaaS products.

Your proactive approach will be instrumental in building a robust security culture where every team member plays a vital role in protecting our valuable data and systems.

This is a full-time, hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, offering 3 days in our Madrid office and 2 days from the comfort of your home.

What you will do

• Foster a culture of security by actively integrating DevSecOps principles and tools into the development process.
  
  This involves collaborating with developers to implement secure coding practices, conducting security code reviews, and seamlessly integrating security tools into the development workflow.
  
  
• Design and implement robust authentication and authorization solutions, safeguarding access to our systems with tools like single sign-on and granular access controls.
  
  
• Conduct comprehensive threat modeling and security risk assessments, proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities and developing mitigation strategies to stay ahead of evolving threats.
  
  
• Provide invaluable guidance to software engineers, conducting security awareness training and reviewing code for vulnerabilities.
  
  
• Spearhead our vulnerability management program, proactively identifying and remediating vulnerabilities across our infrastructure and applications, and staying current on the latest security threats.
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions to ensure security remains a top priority throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  
  

What you will bring

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in security engineering, with a specific focus on cloud security and containerization technologies, or equivalent work experience.
  
  
• Deep understanding of DevSecOps practices and tools, adept at integrating them seamlessly into the development workflow.
  
  
• Knowledge of security principles like authentication, access control, cryptography, and secret management, along with threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
  
  
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Bash, or Golang, enabling the development of custom security tools and scripts to enhance our security posture.
  
  
• Effective collaboration skills in a fast-paced, global environment, with impeccable English language skills, both written and verbal.
  
  
• A passion for security demonstrated through ongoing learning.
