Responsibilities
Design and implement test systems and strategies with an objective to find and prevent defects during the software development cycle and assure quality of interoperability solutions for visualization workflows for Autodesk products including Inventor, Revit, BIM360 and cloud services.
Leverage your quality assurance mindset and validate functionality, stability, compatibility, performance and bring customer perspective to the development process to ensure goals are met for key components for CAD/CAE applications that exchange data to and from various file formats including IFC, STEP, SolidWorks, Parasolid, Rhino, Sketchup and more.
Create and execute test cases using carefully designed test models
Create and execute comprehensive test designs and analyze test results
Develop test automations for import and export workflows
Clearly document, manage, and prioritize defects as well as collaborate with product support and customers to resolve customer issues
Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters and engineers to evaluate quality related risk, and/or stability of products and services
Actively participate in team meetings and practice Agile mindset throughout the software development lifecycle
Perform hands on test script development
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in software testing
Experience with at least one CAD application like Inventor, Revit
Coding and scripting skills in languages like Python to develop automated test systems for import and export workflows
Understanding of 3d design and data visualization workflows
