Requirements
Must to have:
+5 years:
• SAP GTS version 11.
• Customs Management.
• Risk Management.
• Product Classification (ECCN, HTS, etc.).
• Integration with SD, MM, and TM modules.
• EDI interfaces for export declarations.
• Technical knowledge of IDOC, BADI, and RFC connections.
• Functional SAP GTS Consultants.
• Experience configuring export documents, license determination, and customs integration.
• Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data-related inquiries.
• Strong experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies, as well as design, relational database technologies, and performance tuning.
• Experience with SAP GTS Risk Management processes, especially Letters of Credit.
• Strong technical experience with SAP GTS and related SAP modules.
• Knowledge of SAP GTS implementation tools and integration methods.
• Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
• Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• 3+ years of experience in SAP GTS version 11.
Responsibilities
• Analyze international trade processes and identify opportunities to improve regulatory compliance and operational efficiency using SAP GTS.
• Configure and maintain SAP GTS modules: Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.
• Provide support and optimize integration between SAP GTS and core SAP modules: SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and TM (Transportation Management).
• Manage and process key documents in the SD module, such as sales orders, outbound deliveries, and proforma invoices.
• Configure and monitor EDI interfaces for export declarations, ensuring smooth communication with customs authorities.
• Manage Letters of Credit processes within the Risk Management module, including license determination and handling of blocked documents.
• Ensure correct product classification (e.g., ECCN, HTS codes) for export regulation compliance.
• Collaborate with logistics, compliance, and IT teams to align system configurations with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Perform system updates, testing, documentation, and user training.
• Stay up to date on international trade regulations and translate changes into system and process adjustments.
• Understand and follow Data Governance and ensure attention to data quality.
• Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
• Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards.
