Jeeves is rapidly growing our operations in Colombia and is seeking a motivated, ambitious Sales Development Representative to join and help scale our Colombia sales organization.
The Sales Development Representative will report to our Country Manager in Mexico / Colombia and will be responsible for closing high-value clients and growing the Colombian market.
The role focuses on generating qualified prospects via a multi-channel approach using AI tools, email, WhatsApp, cold calls, events, and channel partners.
This position is hands-on and strategic as they will act in a critical role for Jeeves as the hunter of new business opportunities.
Location: This role is based in Bogotá, Colombia, and is a full-time hybrid position requiring 2-3 days per week in the office in Parque de la 93.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients and generate a steady pipeline of high-quality leads using various tools and platforms.
- Outbound Sales Efforts: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to connect with potential clients and set up introductory meetings.
- Lead Qualification: Assess needs and challenges to determine alignment with Jeeves solutions.
Qualify leads based on criteria such as budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT).
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate lead information in the CRM and track interactions and progression through the sales funnel.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work with Account Executives and the sales team to ensure smooth handoffs and provide context for successful conversions.
- Market and Industry Research: Stay informed about fintech trends to tailor outreach strategies.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor metrics such as leads generated, outreach, and conversion rates to improve results.
- Campaign Participation: Assist in planning and executing targeted sales and marketing campaigns and provide feedback on messaging.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with Jeeves products, services, and value propositions through ongoing training.
- Customer Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from prospects and clients to inform product and marketing teams.
Experience
- Sales experience: 3+ years in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in fintech, finance, or technology.
- Fluent in English; the internal communications language is English.
- Lead generation experience with prospecting, qualification, and familiarity with BANT or similar frameworks.
- Familiarity with prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo).
- CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
