About this Position
As an R&D Specialist for the ANDEAN region, you
will be responsible for defining, coordinating, and executing validation plans
for the implementation of product initiatives across the Retail Beauty
portfolio.
Your mission is to ensure that all new product developments,
relaunches, and improvements meet Henkel’s quality, safety, and sustainability
standards, while aligning with business strategies and regulatory requirements.
What you´ll do
- Technical
Review: Analyze
and integrate technical and safety information (SDS, RMDS, specifications)
for raw materials, packaging, and finished products to support launches
and improvements across the ANDEAN region. - Validation
Execution: Define and lead validation plans for formulas, packaging, and
manufacturing processes at the - Guatemala production plant and Colombian
Beauty Retail Plant, including toll manufacturers. - System
Integration: Manage formulation and packaging data in systems such as LIMS, SAP P03,
MBOM, IPAS, and SEAL workflows to enable product implementation in
production systems (P92). - Continuous
Improvement: Collaborate with Supply Chain and Production teams to resolve quality
issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives. - Regulatory
Compliance: Ensure R&D documentation and processes comply with local regulations
and certification standards applicable in Colombia. - Cross-functional
Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders including Production, Supply
Chain, Quality, and - Regulatory Affairs to ensure seamless product
implementation.
What makes you a good fit
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering (Chemical or Industrial preferred). - Experience: Minimum 4 years of
experience in R&D, product development, or manufacturing.
At least 2
years within Henkel is a plus. - Technical
Skills: Strong
knowledge of formulation, packaging, validation processes, and
manufacturing systems (SAP, LIMS). - Soft Skills: Proactive, detail-oriented,
collaborative, and capable of working under moderate supervision with
initiative. - Languages: English (intermediate to advanced
preferred).
