As a Quoting & Load Building , you will be responsible for supporting the operations team by accurately entering, maintaining, and verifying transportation data related to quotes, loads, and shipments.
You will also ensure efficiency, accuracy, and speed within the logistics process from initial rate quoting to load creation in the TMS.
Some of your responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
- Gather shipment details (origin, destination, weight, commodity, mode, etc.) and prepare accurate freight quotes.
- Input rate and accessorial information into the TMS according to customer requirements and pricing guidelines.
- Review quotes for accuracy and completeness before submission to customers or internal teams.
- Create and update loads in the TMS, ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and properly coded.
- Update rates and confirm equipment types as required.
Verify that all load details align with customer routing guides and service expectations.
- Maintain up-to-date shipment records and documentation, including rate confirmations, bills of landing, and delivery details.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across all entries in the TMS and other reporting tools to identify and correct data discrepancies to support billing accuracy and operational reporting.
- Coordinate with Operations, Carrier Sales, and Customer Service teams to clarify or confirm shipment information.
- Respond promptly to internal requests regarding quote details or documentation
Requirements:
- Studies: Studies in International Business, Business Administration, Foreign Languages, Logistics or an administration-related Degree.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Logistics or Freight Operations ,Strong working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and data entry tools.
- Familiarity with freight quoting, load building, or rate management processes.
- Language: Advanced English skills.
B2+ or higher is preferred.
