Quality Control Coordinator (Zona Franca Rionegro, Antioquia, Colombia)
Position summary
The Quality Control (QC) Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the management and verification of manufacturing records and quality control data to ensure product compliance with internal and external standards.
Your focus will be on Ensure the microbiological quality of products manufactured in the manufacturing plant by creating, implementing, and managing quality control and assurance systems.
The position has a technical and strategic emphasis on microbiology, contributing to the continuous improvement of production processes, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities:
Define, validate, and document microbiological analysis methodologies for raw materials, intermediate processes, and final products.
Maintain accurate documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Archive all documents for the required duration, ensuring proper record-keeping for audits and regulatory purposes
Review production records to verify that products meet quality standards before global distribution
Identify non-compliant findings and recommend corrective actions or improvement plans to address quality issues.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any quality-related issues that may arise
during production or distribution.
Assist with the review of Certificates of Analysis and ensure they are accurate and properly formatted.
Collaboration: Work closely with supply planners and production teams to obtain manufacturing, records and quality control data in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure continuous improvement in quality processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure the implementation, standardization and optimization of the cleaning and disinfection program
Education / Skills / Abilities:
Education:
Certifications and experience in ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, HACCP, GMP, and other quality and laboratory management related standards will be highly valued.
